Digitizing Alexander Grahan Bell’s Beinn Bhreagh for its conservation


Abstract


This paper describes Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS) and Heritage Standing collaboration for the application of digital technologies for the rehabilitation and conservation of an important heritage place called the Beinn Bhreagh House.  The series of accurate architectural drawings produced will be used for undertaking a project that aims to develop and apply a methodology for the documentation, rehabilitation and conservation of this important landmark in the province of Nova Scotia.
